Pradosh vrat of the Krishna paksha. Trayodashi in the Pradosh (sunset + a fifth of the night), the tithi-kaal rule of the Dharmashastra digests. One evening: that day. Part of both evenings' Pradosh: the greater part. The whole Pradosh of both evenings (e.g. 21 and 22 May 2047 at New Delhi): the longer Pradosh, that is the longer night, seconds apart; a tie-break of the platform's own, no authority cited. Neither evening (e.g. Trayodashi from 20:37 on 29 Jan to 17:29 on 30 Jan 2022 at New Delhi): the Hindu day on which Trayodashi prevails longest, the platform's general fallback, no authority cited. Rashtriya Panchang (Government of India almanac) daily pages, Saka 1948: 23 of its 24 Pradosh days of 2026-27 are this rule's days at its central station, including the two-evening months 28 Apr 2026 and 5 Jan 2027. Its Pradosh of 4 Feb 2027 is unexplained: by its own times Trayodashi ends at 16:32, before that sunset; this rule gives 3 Feb, whose whole Pradosh is in Trayodashi.
